Vote Analyzer is being moved!

The basic concept for the Vote Analyzer is a lot larger and more expansive than this site can do justice; in addition, for it to be perceived genuinely for what it is, it must be totally free and clear of any hint of bias - and therefore this site, which is not partisan but definitely biased (in particular with respect to the economic nonsense coming out of DC and Wall Street), is not the appropriate venue for it.

Watch this space for updates and link to the new site when it is ready!

The legislators database is loaded, as are the bill lists for the 110th and 111th Congress. There's a lot more source data to import, and that is still in progress.

This has turned out to be quite the exciting project.

The latest update is not yet reflected in the application; I am still working out the details. I have, however, managed to acquire a database detailing the entire historical membership of Congress, which will enable me to sort out an existing issue with votes cast by the same legislator being evaluated as separate people.

I will continue to update this document to reflect new changes to and features of the application.
